It comes as no surprise that I, as a die-hard Vikings fan, can't stand the Metrodome. It was a disgrace to EVER play baseball under a teflon roof and it's no better for the Vikes. That's why, even though I'm a little bummed that a Sunday went by that I was expecting to watch my "Purple," I'm a little excited about the Hefty-Bag falling flat. It's a great pursuant for the Norsemen to finally push home their agenda of getting a new stadium. They NEED a new stadium and the fact that their current home has dropped from above should give the team a bit of leverage in achieving their agenda of getting a new arena to play in.
